Step Four - The Waiting Room

Once you have joined the meeting you will go to a waiting room. You can wait for your teacher in this room and they will let you into the meeting when they are ready. Make sure you’re in this waiting room at least 5 minutes before your lesson.

Some Zoom Rules

  1. If you are in a class, stay muted until your teacher asks you to unmute.

  2. Your camera must remain switched on.

  3. If you are in a dance class, check your email your teacher sent you with the Zoom link on.

  4. If you are in a class where you need to move a lot, make sure you have enough room and can do so safely.

  5. If possible, try and find a quiet spot in your house to help you concentrate.

  6. If you are in a singing class, be sure to have headphones if possible. We have attached a link to a very affordable pair you can pick up on Amazon below:
