We are successful recipients of the Culture Recovery Fund

Join us in breathing a sigh of relief as we announce this exciting news! After 10 amazing years we continue to be proud to provide an outstanding stage school and theatre company in our home town and we are thrilled to have been awarded support to continue to do so.

Thanks to The Arts Council England (@ACE_National) and the government’s #CultureRecoveryFund we can continue to be here for you and #HereForCulture.

We now look forward to continuing to support the artistic and creative lives of children, young people and the community in Shropshire by developing new and innovative ways for people to take part and watch our productions.

Increasing our ability to stream productions to audiences

COVID-19 has had a dramatic impact on our ability to safely house an audience. We are developing some unique ways to help get our shows back on track and out to you, whilst trying to keep that live theatre feeling alive.

Allowing our sign up numbers to stay safe and reach those that can’t attend in person virtually

We are looking forward to developing a virtual counterpart to our lessons to allow those that can’t attend in person to attend virtually. This will become especially important for our viability, if we go into any lockdowns in the future.

This exciting announcement is very new to us. We are still looking at what we can do with this Culture Recover Fund. However, it will only go so far. So we still need your support more than ever to get us through the coming year. Please support the events and classes that we offer over this period in any way you can.

Help Still Needed

FUNDING IS ONLY TO ENABLE US TO OPERATE SAFELY AND STILL REACH AUDIENCES and donations are still appreciated

Whilst we are incredibly lucky to have received some support from the Culture Recovery Fund, it is only enough to try to adapt current operations to still bring audiences entertainment and support our students with their continued learning. All of our streaming events are free this year and we have a very reduced capacity in our classes. So your support is still very much needed and appreciated.
