Over the past ten years, we have endeavoured to support Telford and the wider arts community to produce theatre and teach performing arts to thousands of young people.

We are proud to have established an arts company in our home town supporting children and young people from the place that we grew up in.

Free events

Lots of Streaming events this year are free (you do still need to sign up though). This can be done before, during or after the event. 

At the present time, audience members can request links to all of our streamed events without purchasing a ticket. 

We are now working in different ways and we are trying a new approach: Instead of a ticket price, we ask that friends, family and supporters pledge a donation to support the continued success of The Arts Centre Telford. 

Funding is only to enable us to operate safely and still reach audiences

Whilst we are incredibly lucky to have received some support from the Culture Recovery Fund, it is only enough to try to adapt current operations to still bring audiences entertainment and support our students with their continued learning. So your support is still very much needed and appreciated.

Help is appreciated

We know that 2020 has been hard for everyone and we want our events to be accessible to those who want to spend time with us (albeit remotely). We also hope that those who can will support our work with Shropshire’s children and young people generously.

We know that these are difficult times for our entire community. We know that some people will be able to support at the moment and some people will not. For those who are able, we would be very grateful for any donation you can make to ensure the continued success of The Arts Centre Telford.

If you can't donate financially, perhaps you would consider recommending us on social media or sending us some messages of good will. If you are a former student and you can make a short video to celebrate the work you did with TACT and to tell us about where you are now, we would love to hear your news.

If you are a current or former TACT parent, let us know that you still think about us and that you hope to see us soon. We will be as grateful for £5 as £15 and we know that everyone is doing their very best to return to normal. We can't wait to get our studio doors back open again. A heartfelt thanks to all who are able to engage with this message. Most importantly of all, we are thinking of you, we miss you and we hope that you are staying safe.
